With over 20 years of experience across major labels, network television, and global music licensing, Kimberley Williams is a trusted voice in the world of sync and publishing. A former major label music exec, member of the GRAMMY® Recording Academy, COO of a creative sync licensing collective, publishing consultant, public speaker and youth empowerment volunteer, Kim brings unmatched industry insight to every stage she steps on and every room she leads.

Kimberley Williams is a music industry executive who lives by the motto, “Those who don’t think outside the box, stay in the box.” That mindset led this Cleveland, OH native to build a career as a music publisher and sync licensing manager, representing diverse talent across all media. Kim is passionate about educating, empowering, and guiding the next generation of music professionals at the intersection of creativity and commerce.
Kim began her career helping to launch the debut marketing campaigns for industry heavyweights Brandy, Lil Kim, Kid Rock, Jewel, Missy Elliot, Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child) and multiple others at various labels such as Atlantic Records, Columbia Artists, Elektra Records and Sony Music. Kim eventually moved into the Digital Entertainment space producing live shows and panels, handling talent, legal affairs, licensing and consumer product placement for Paramount (nee Viacom Media Networks), MTV and Nickelodeon, in original programming for shows such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dora The Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants and many others.
Alongside her work under her personal brand, OMC, Kim also serves as COO of Creative Sync Licensing at Smashcoast Music, where she oversees publishing administration and creative strategy for placements across all media. Her role keeps her closely connected to the fast-moving sync world—negotiating licensing deals, managing a global catalog, and championing fair compensation for composers and producers. Kim also volunteers with MusiCares and Music Unites, using music education to uplift urban youth and underserved communities.
